This class will satisfy the 16-hour class requirement for Riverside County & the cities of Riverside, Hemet, Murrieta, Banning, Menifee, and Beaumont. This program is designed to meet the requirements for issuance of an initial California concealed carry weapons (CCW) for the locations listed.

About the Event
Applicants requesting approval for an Initial California CCW from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office must complete the entire 2 day course (Day 1 - 8am-4pm , Day 2 - 8am-4pm) and pass the Initial Shooting Qualification for all firearms on their CCW. Students may have a maximum of six firearms listed on their CCW.
THIS COURSE IS REQUIRED IN ADDITION TO YOUR APPLICATION WITH THE SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT. YOU MUST STILL COMPLETE THE APPLICATION PROCESS BEFORE OR AFTER COMPLETION OF THIS COURSE.
