About the Event

For those of you who have thought about learning about firearms, this class is for you.

*Range Fee $20 not included*

Our classes focus on laying the foundation to becoming a responsible and effective gun owner, as well as honing the skills of the more advanced shooter. Classes consist of 1 hour of classroom time followed by 2 hours on the range. We pride ourselves in creating a fun non intimidating learning environment. Our instructors will identify each students strengths and deficiencies.

Topics that are covered in class will include:

  • Basic firearm safety

  • Types of firearms and their actions

  • Loading and unloading

  • Gun range etiquette

  • Fundamentals of shooting

This class is designed to set the groundwork for safe pistol handling. It’s a great opportunity for a beginner to ask questions, get answers, and learn in a non-threatening environment. We will start with a safety briefing and basic fundamental class and move onto the range after all students are comfortable with the basic rules of firearm safety and basic knowledge of the fundamentals of shooting.

 

*Note* – There is a strict limit of participants in this course to ensure that each student has adequate one-on-one time with an instructor.
